Module 3 provides a series of country-by-country national modules. Each module provides national resources and relevant regulatory provisions on topics addressed in the training provided in Modules 1 & 2. Prepared by local authorities, it is intended to serve as a resource for anyone conducting research with humans in these countries. This section will grow as more national modules are added. Four national modules are currently available in each country’s primary language as described below.
- Mali (French only)
- Cameroon: (French & English)
- Tanzania (English only)
- Switzerland (French and German)
Overview: Each national module presented here, reviews key research ethics topics covered in previous modules and lists applicable provisions (legislation, regulations, guidelines, policies etc.) from that country. It will specify any national requirements or particularities that fall under general principles discussed in modules 1 &2. Documents are made accessible either by a Hyperlink to national websites or are provided as PDF files that can be downloaded.
