Dear TRREE users,
The TRREE community continues to grow, with almost 170,000 registered users from 225 countries and territories worldwide. In order to meet your needs, we are committed to providing free and open access to quality training and reliable access to essential documents on international research ethics.
It is therefore with great pleasure that we announce today that the first 3 training modules (Introduction to Research Ethics, Research Ethics Evaluation, and Informed Consent) have been updated and completed. After 10 years, it was time to refresh the texts, complete the references and share the latest thinking on research ethics. We hope you enjoy discovering these "new" modules, and hope they motivate you to update and reinforce your knowledge. We would also like to extend our warmest thanks to all those who have made this revision possible.
We have also added three new languages - Spanish, Kiswahili and Armenian - to complement the English, French, German, Polish and Portuguese versions. A revision of the training in traditional Chinese will also be available shortly, with a new version in simplified Chinese.
For your information, earlier versions will still be available until the end of the year, to enable everyone to complete their training and obtain the corresponding certificates. After that, only the new modules will be available. For those already in possession of certificates, these will remain accessible only until the end of 2024.
Thank you for your interest in research ethics, we hope that TRREE continues to meet your needs. We wish you a happy holiday season and all the best for 2024.
Best regards,
TRREE team
